Is the on-site measure free?
Yes. We come out, measure, look at what is there now, and you get a written price before any work begins. There is no charge for the visit.
Who actually sets the tile?
Our own crew. Mid-State has been family owned since 1931 and is on its fifth generation. The people who show up to set your tile work for us.
How do you keep a tile shower from leaking?
Every shower goes down to the studs. We slope the pan to the drain and put a waterproofing membrane over the pan and every wall before any tile goes up. Grout is not waterproof, so the membrane is what keeps water out of the wall. See the three stages.
Where do you work?

Can I see tile in person before I choose?
Yes. Our showroom is at 402 Lincoln Ave NE in St. Cloud. No appointment needed. Walk in any weekday, 8:00 to 4:30, and call (320) 252-1242 ahead if you want someone free to walk it with you. Bring room photos, rough measurements and samples of any cabinets, counters or paint you are keeping. Showroom details.
Do you fix tile you did not install?
Yes. Cracked tile, failing grout, loose tile and leaking showers. We find out why it failed before we fix it. Tile repair.
